ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
Raevynn Ashley Drummond, LCSW
As a licensed clinical social worker, I bring a compassionate, client-centered approach to helping individuals, teenagers, and families navigate the complex challenges that life often presents. With a deep understanding of trauma informed care, I have dedicated my career to supporting those who have experienced emotional, psychological, or developmental trauma, offering a safe and supportive environment where healing and growth can occur.
My work with teenagers involves addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, peer pressure, identity development, and family conflict, while also fostering emotional regulation, communication skills, and self-esteem.
I also provide guidance and therapeutic support to families struggling with relational breakdowns, parenting challenges, and intergenerational trauma, using a strengths-based and systems-focused approach to promote resilience and connection.
My Journey
Born on June 10, 1987, in Baltimore, Maryland, I moved to Connecticut in 2017 to further my academic and professional journey. After beginning my career as a juvenile probation officer, I felt called to dive deeper into mental health work and earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Saint Joseph in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Let’s Work Together
Whether you’re seeking therapy for yourself, your teenager, or your family, my goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and equipped with the tools to build a life rooted in resilience and connection. Healing isn’t a straight line but together, we can move forward.
